The Long Island Veterans Home held its 7th Annual Golf Classic in September at the Port Jefferson Country Club. The Veterans Home which is located on the Stony Brook University Hospital and University Campus raised $75,000 which will be put directly into programs to help enhance the lives of our veterans and those who care fro them throughout the year. Michael Ardolino's contribution helped to make this event a wonderful success.
August 2008 -
Three Village Schools Districts Minnesauke's incoming kindergarten class was welcomed by the PTA at the school playground. Each kindergarten was invited to play and meet new friends. Michael Ardolino's Team attended and generously greeted each incoming kindergarten with a frozen ice treat. The children played for an hour then were invited to tour their classrooms.

The 9th Annual Three Village Chamber of Commerce BBQ was a rousing success. Team Ardolino's significant contribution to this Three Village Community event helped make this awesome event possible. Michael also donated ice cream to the event held at West Meadow Beach in Setauket.

The annual Cody Comedy festival held at Stony Brook University's Wang Center includes the Funny Bone Reception where over 300 guests enjoy an elegant dinner. This event that demonstrates the community's commitment to aggressively confront autism and the impact it has on those involved. Following the reception, nearly 650 guests gather in the Staller Center to laugh at the jokes of three of the region's most popular comedians. Michael Ardolino's generous contribution helped the event to raise more than $155,000 in support of the Cody Center's mission.
May 2008 -
Troop 117 Boy Scouts of America, a Three Village School District local scout working toward his Eagle Scout Rank, plans to build an outdoor classroom at Ward Melville High School. The plan includes seating for approximately thirty two students and includes decorative shrubbery around the area. Team Ardolino contributed toward this Eagle Scout Project.

Ward Melville Heritage Organization celebrates "Family Day at The Brewster House" on May 17, 2008.This event took place in the heart of Three Village community. The day was full of celebrations with the presentation of the official plaque to place The Brewster House on the State and National Register of Historic Places, tours of The Brewster House and the original George Washington Letter on display. Team Ardolino's continued support and partial sponsorship of this event helped it to be a fun filled educational for all in attendance.

The Three Village Kiwanis Club had a fund raiser to help the family of Roseanne Prisco. Team Ardolino's donation was passed along to her family.

Frank Melville Memorial Foundation held its annual 2008 campaign. The contributions drive is for the restoration of the historic landscape and will also assist in saving the pond @ Frank Melville Park which is located in the Three Village community of Setauket. Michael Ardolino's donation will greatly assist in the plan to continue the Foundations efforts. Michael is a trustee in this oraginazation.

Team Ardolino donated ice cream to the 3rd Annual Setauket Elementary School Open House and Founders Day Celebration. This school is one of five Elementary schools in the Three Village School District. The event was held at the school and organized by the school and the PTA.

Three Village Baseball's opening day celebration was a fun packed event thanks in part to Michael Ardolino's gift of DJ Services for the day and his donation of ice cream to everyone in attendance. Team Ardolino has been sponsoring this event annually for 10 years. The day was filled with a parade and introduction of the Tykes, Pre K and Kindergarten teams and then each team played a game. Team Ardolino also brought each child a Frisbee, key chain and a Team Cup.

Little League of the Three Villages opening day celebration was a fun packed event thanks in part to Michael Ardolino's gift of DJ Services for the day and his donation of ice cream to everyone in attendance. Team Ardolino has been sponsoring this event annually for 12 years. The day was filled with a parade and introduction of 57 teams with over 700 children taking to the fields. Team Ardolino also brought each child a Frisbee, key chain and a Team Cup.

South Setauket Park celebrated its 3rd annual holiday lighting. The event was filled with a tree and menorah lighting, singing, display of floats and of course hot chocolate and cookies! Michael Ardolino sponsored the event and provided the participants and guests with a DJ and saxophone player to help spread holiday cheer. The event brought approximately 200 people out to celebrate.

Michael Ardolino donated funds to help facilitate the 8th annual Brookhaven Chapter of UNICO's Toy Drive. UNICO's mission is to promote and enhance the image of Italian Americans; for members to be of service to the community; to promote Italian heritage and culture; to promote, support and assist charitable, scientific, cultural, educational, and literary projects; to promote members interest in public welfare and to cooperate with others in civic, social, cultural development. They toys are distributed to children throughout the community who may not otherwise know the joy of the Holiday Season.

The Three Village Historical Society celebrated its 29th annual Candlelight House Tour: Then and Now 2007 on November 30th and December 1st. This event is the main fundraising event of the Three Village Historical Society. Michael Ardolino sponsored the Ruplin house enabled the Society to provide the tour participants with an event that they have come to expect through the years. The funds, raised through the donations of their corporate sponsors and ticket sales, will be used by the Three Village Historical Society to further enhance and expand their award winning educational programs for Long Island K-12 students and the general public.

David and Sherry Seyfert held a Find a Cure for APS Type 1 on National Make a Difference Day. The event raised more than $10,000. All monies raised will go to the NORD Restricted Grant Fund to help begin and continue the medical help necessary to find a cure for those suffering from Autoimmune Polyglandular Syndrome (APS Type 1) Team Ardolino provided their Community Van for the transportation necessary to set-up, run and break down of this charitable event.

Three Village Schools Ward Melville High School Educational and Business Advisory Alliance held its annual planning meeting on September 25th. With Team Ardolino's donation they were able to provide food and refreshments for the meeting.

The monies raised will be utilized to help the professionals at the Veterans Home meet the needs of these dedicated men and woman through nursing care and a supportive community that provides important opportunities for socialization. Team Ardolino's generous donation will enable these programs to continue to support our veterans.

Boys and Girls Club of Suffolk County held its 15th Annual Golf Outing at St. Georges Country Club on Monday, August 6th. 80 golfers and more than 90 dinner guests were treated to spectacular weather and a lovely day. The funds collected will enable The Boys and Girls Club to achieve their goals and further their mission to enable all young adults to reach their potential as productive, caring, and responsible adults. With Michael Ardolino's contribution these programs can continue.

UNICO National Brookhaven Chapter's 26th Annual Charity Golf Outing was held on August 13, 2007 and raised more than $250,000 for such organizations as Good Shepherd Hospice, Hope House Ministries, St Jude Children's Hospital and Mental health programs. Team Ardolino's generous contribution as a Gold Sponsor helped to again make this year's event a success.

Three Village Schools Minnesauke Elementary School held its 3rd Annual Spring Soiree at Lombardi's on the Sound on Friday, April 13th. Over 250 guests attended the event and enjoyed an evening of entertainment provided by the Kumalo Band, wine tasting from Vineyard 48, Beverages from Brooklyn Brewery and of course wonderful friends ant a beautiful setting. This event raised over $18,000 to support Minnesauke's Arts n' Education Program. Team Ardolino helped to make this event a success with its generous contribution.
